Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.

They plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.

About the course:

The Diploma of Leadership and Management is designed and delivered in either multimodal format (online with optional teacher led on-campus sessions) or fast-track mode for working professionals. Participants will all have industry experience and be currently leading a team or managing people or aspiring to do so in the near future. The course will build leadership and management skills for immediate application in the workplace.

Course structure

This course has four core units plus eight elective units. The multi modal format is a nine month duration with combined online delivery and optional on-campus workshops. Alternatively the fast-track mode delivers units over ten one-day workshops; the workshop dates can be selected on week days or weekend to suit your own schedule and time frame.

• 4 elective units must be selected from Group A
• up to 4 may be additional units from Group A or Group B
• if not listed below, up to 2 electives may be from Diploma or above in the Business Services Training Package
• if not listed below, 1 elective unit may be from any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course at Diploma level.
Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.

Cancellation Policy

There is no refund for students who do not turn up, on the booking date. Changes to class timings are allowed but with 48 hours notice prior to class commencement.
